SweetFleet Website
PROBLEM
SweetFleet is a subscription box startup that needs an e-commerce website that allows for personalization of gift boxes.
SCOPE
This project lasted 2 Weeks and had 2 team members. My roles included being the Lead UX Researcher and UX Designer.
SOLUTION
A website designed to allow users to personalize and select gift boxes for both gifting and personal use.
DESIGN TOOLS
Axure, Balsamiq and Wireframing
Users
Mostly women in their mid twenties to mid forties who want to send gifts that are meaningful and memorable to loved ones.
Research
This consisted of asking individuals their opinions on subscription boxes. The emphasis was on how they felt about subscription boxes, if they used any boxes in the past, how they felt about personalization and how they selected products for the purposes of gifting. Key trends were discovered through synthesizing the research.

Trends
-
Users love receiving handwritten notes.
-
Users want to know where do their products originate from.
-
Users want the option of a personal shopper to help guide during shopping process.
-
Users want different price points for boxes.
User Flow
This user flow depicts the way a user would walk through our website by purchasing products for themselves and learning about the monthly subscriptions. They have the ability to select the payment price and the number of products. Then pay for the boxes knowing that they would receive different products each month.

Wireframes
Wireframes depicted the layout of the website from the user flow and synthesized trends. After iterating on the designs they were incorporated into a low fidelity prototyping tool.

Prototypes
Balsamiq prototypes were created with the newly discovered trends in mind. Iterations of the hand drawn prototypes resulted in design changes that were ready to be taken into Axure.
